EPOPIC comes to Madrid

EPOPIC, the Patent Information Conference of the European Patent Office, is to be held this year in Madrid from 8 to 10 November. Organised in collaboration with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO), it is an occasion for members of the different offices, professionals and patent informants come together to share opinions and experiences.

In parallel to the Conference, an exhibition area will provide an opportunity for the main actors in this field to make themselves known.
The main features this year include:

• Presentations on Patent monitoring and citations.
• Special attention on full text searches, semantic searches and “White-Spot” analysis.
• Session on the legal status and searches to ascertain freedom-to-operate.
• Information section on Patents in Spain and in Latin America.
• On 7 and 10 November, training on subjects such as Asian Patent information, Patent analysis and Patent families.

Registration is open. The event is to be held at the Novotel Madrid Center.
