Exhibition “Energy sustainability, 540 years in Spain”On December 3th , the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism inaugurated the exhibition “Energy sustainability, 540 years in Spain”. This exhibition has been carried out by the staff of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. coinciding with the United Nations Convention on Climate Change held in Madrid (COP25). This exhibition highlights the importance of seeking and enhancing the inventive capacity related to the protection and safeguarding of our planet, especially with the use and technological development of clean energies, specifically, of wind energy, in which Spain is Pioneer. The exhibition, through 6 panels, takes as a thread the inventions registered in Spain that used the kinetic energy of the wind since the first invention patent registered in the Crown of Castile in 1478, which was granted as a privilege by the Queen Isabel I to her doctor and physicist, Pedro de Azlor until the most current start-up by the Vortex Bladeless company. Acting minister, Reyes Maroto, also received at the office headquarters 6th grade students of the CEIP Francisco de Quevedo de Leganés school, who came to visit this exhibition before traveling to the IFEMA facilities where she remained until Friday the 13th of December, closing day of COP25.
