CIBEPYME: Launch of Iberoamerican Industrial Property Platform

The CIBEPYME is a Support Platform for Iberoamerican SMEs that want to internationalise in the region. This website offers SMEs the information necessary to profit from the results of their innovation in the countries that belong to the Iberoamerican Industrial Property Programme (IBEPI): Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay.

This tool provides information, services and free assistance (through a consultation form) in the field of Industrial Property, in order to promote better use of the registration systems. In addition, it allows users to share best practices, successful cases of companies that committed to the registry system, awareness campaigns, news and actions taken in each of the countries.

The website is published in Spanish, and the microsites of Portugal and Brazil in Portuguese. The information will soon also be available in English and, as countries join the programme, their information will be added to the website.

This platform was created within the framework of Iberoamerican Cooperation, with the aim of promoting the strategic use of Industrial Property as a tool for the development and integration of Iberoamerican societies.
