New SPTO History Website

The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO) has updated its History Website, changing the home page and introducing new utilities.

The home page now has a new design, with a simpler, more dynamic interface and changing images. The new utilities include:

• A games section
• An integrated search tool: Now browsers can search by words and sentences in any field, select a search in one, two or more data bases simultaneously and choose between any range of dates.
• A multimedia section (coming soon): An agreement with the Spanish film library will allow us to include newsreels on inventions, some of which are covered by patents.
