New Content in the Medical Devices Technology Watch Bulletin: Diagnostic Imaging The Medical Devices Technology Watch Bulletin is the result of a collaboration between the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) and the ISCIII Platform for the Promotion and Innovation of the National Health System’s Industrial Capabilities and Their Effective Transfer to the Productive Sector (ITEMAS). Since its creation in 2015, this bulletin has provided quarterly, free updates on patents in the field of medical technology, specifically surgical techniques. However, technological advancements in the medical field and the emergence of new technical areas of greater interest to ITEMAS members have led to a reevaluation of the bulletin’s content. Therefore, moving forward, it will focus on diagnostic imaging technologies, such as nuclear medicine, computed tomography, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, and image processing. We hope that this newsletter, with its updated content, will continue to be of interest to subscribers and, more broadly, to all those interested in innovation in the field of medical technologies.
