Visit oh the President of the European Patent Office In September, António Campinos, President of the European Patent Office (EPO), visited Spain to hold bilateral meetings with Elisa Rodriguez Ortiz, Director of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM), and Jordi Hereu, Minister of Industry and Tourism. During the working session, they analyzed the evolution of patents within Spain’s innovation ecosystem and highlighted the importance of collaboration between national governments and supranational entities to support European stakeholders. Pablo Garde, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, also attended the ministerial meeting. Institutional cooperation is key to strengthening industrial property and innovation in Spanish industry.
