Ensure that your industrial design has not already been registered in the Designs Register. To do this, you can consult the INVENES Database (Industrial Designs) on the SPTO website. If you think yours is a new or original design, simply read and follow the relevant instructions found in the “Manual for Industrial Design Applicants” and the “Industrial Design Application Example” , located in the “During the application” section.
