El primer día se celebrará en la sede de la OEPM y durante los 3 días de duración, se dará a conocer qué es la Oficina Española de Patentes y Marcas y se tratarán diversos temas como el procedimiento de tramitación en la OEPM a través de su Sede electrónica o los trámites desde la presentación de la solicitud de una patente hasta su concesión.
También habrá sesiones sobre qué es el estado de la técnica , la elaboración de un Informe sobre el Estado de la Técnica o el papel del Agente de la Propiedad Industrial en la tramitación de la solicitud.
