A partir del 1 de diciembre de 2025, tras la entrada en vigor del Reglamento de la Unión Europea sobre la protección de los productos artesanales e industriales, una nueva modalidad de propiedad industrial permitirá proteger el nombre de los productos artesanales e industriales en toda la Unión Europea como «indicación geográfica».
La Oficina Española de Patentes y Marcas, O.A. junto con la Comisión Europea y la Oficina Europea de Propiedad Intelectual (EUIPO), organiza la jornada “Artesanía e Industria con sello propio: las nuevas indicaciones geográficas” con el fin de dar a conocer este nuevo sistema de Indicaciones Geográficas de Productos Artesanales e Industriales y debatir sobre los retos y las oportunidades que surgirán.
La jornada tendrá lugar el 24 de octubre en la Real Fábrica de Cristales de La Granja, ubicada en el Real Sitio de San Ildefonso (Segovia). Se pondrá a disposición de los asistentes un servicio de transporte gratuito desde Madrid previa inscripción.
