La Oficina Española de Patentes y Marcas (OEPM) y la Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI) publican el libro "Proteger lo que inventamos", un compendio de entrevistas a varios de los ganadores y finalistas de los Premios a la Mejor Invención protegida mediante derechos de Propiedad Industrial, que concede cada año la OEPM.
Los entrevistados son investigadores, científicos, ingenieros e inventores de distintos ámbitos del conocimiento que explican al lector en qué consisten sus respectivas invenciones y qué aportan de novedoso a la industria.
El objetivo de este volumen es mostrar, a través de todas estas experiencias, cómo la apuesta por la Propiedad Industrial es la mejor manera que tienen los investigadores de canalizar la innovación hacia el conjunto de la sociedad a través del mercado. Las herramientas como las patentes y los modelos de utilidad favorecen la transferencia del conocimiento al tiempo que ofrecen una recompensa adecuada a sus creadores.
Esta iniciativa se enmarca dentro de la Cátedra de Innovación y Propiedad Industrial Carlos Fernández-Novoa, que comparten la OEPM y la EOI. El libro se encuentra a disposición del público y puede consultarse de manera gratuita en la página web de ambas organizaciones.
